Serving, Blessing and Empowering Women to Succeed
Women Blessing Women is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization for women age 18 and over dedicated to empowering women living in poverty to achieve success, gain confidence and obtain living wage jobs. There is no fee charged for the organization's services. The organization serves all women without regard to ethnic background, race or religion.
Women participants become empowered to develop the tools needed to become self-sufficient and set personal, educational and employment-related goals to lift themselves up from poverty.
Women Blessing Women's empowerment program is unique. It is the only center in NW Ohio that provides a comprehensive, holistic program for women/mothers who live in poverty. The program addresses the root causes of poverty: education, employment and cultural behavior change.
The empowerment program is delivered through teaching and tutoring of GED; coaching, training and facilitating job readiness skills and spirituality.
Mission Statement
Women Blessing Women provides opportunities to the women of our community to reduce their dependence on society through educational training, life and career skills, for the purpose of fostering accountability, independence and self-sufficiency for themselves and their children.
