Women Blessing Women

Since I attended classes at Women Blessing Women, I have achieved both a G.E.D. and STNA. I'm attending Owens College. Women Blessing Women has given my family and me an amazing gift. They empowered me to be a better individual, a better women and mother. --Shanda

Women Blessing Women has changed my life! Coming to Women Blessing Women has opened doors for me that I was scared to go through. I have always had the desire to return to school and on several occasions, attempted to get my G.E.D. The women there are just like me, come from all walks of life and nationalities. Most of us were broken and abused mentally, physically, financially, former drug addicts, incarcerated or in prostitution; and we are all here for something different. Most of us have a plan after obtaining our G.E.D. --Jacqueline

I forgot I had dreams. It was easier to pretend it didn't matter. It might be easy, but I promise it's not very rewarding. I found the older I got, the harder it was to see myself as being something more than I was. Women Blessing Women inspired us and made us want to be better people. You helped us remember ...
