I’ve never been uncomfortable around/handling firearms, but after attending a Pretty and Protected workshop, it increased my knowledge and skill level. I now have a better understanding of the importance of knowing the California laws in terms of owning and carrying firearms. Aisha is very knowledgeable and motivated me to obtain my CCW. Pretty & Protected was really such a huge blessing. I am a single Black Woman and I am aware that I need to know how to protect myself. Pretty & Protected gave me the opportunity to learn how to purchase and use a firearm safely. When I first arrived to the class, I was genuinely excited but a little nervous. The instructors made sure I felt safe and extremely comfortable.I loved that we were able to sit and learn about firearms before practicing in the range. It made me learn the intricate details that I might not have learned outside of the classroom.Overall, the entire experience has helped me feel confident that I now know how to pick up, load and shoot a firearm correctly.
